A New Global Epidemic Reaches All-Time High – The Normalcy Bias

The Earth is more powerful than human beings.

Our Changing Earth

The Earth is changing today in dramatic ways, but most people just aren’t  “getting it.”  There is epidemic apathy, lack of awareness, and feelings of helplessness spreading worldwide. The warning signs are all around us, but we are not paying attention.

Something’s Different

Only recently, we have started to admit that something different is happening to our planet, but planetary shifts have been building for decades, and we aren’t acting fast enough.

No one should live their life anticipating disaster, but as we witness the chain of events occurring on the Earth today, we must, at the very least, be prepared for the unknown.

Changing weather patterns, increases in powerful earthquakes, the rise in tsunamis and global flooding, volcanic eruptions, and powerful tornadoes seem to inconvenience us more than stimulate a quest for understanding. Many choose to disbelieve when faced with imminent danger or a catastrophe, and this is known as the Normalcy Bias.

The Normalcy Bias

Understandably, most people tend to ignore the possibility that a disaster could happen to them. This often results in situations where people fail to prepare for a disaster, and on a larger scale, the failure of governments to properly educate and inform the masses.

It's important to prepare for hurricanes, tornadoes, and severe storms.

Don’t Ignore Challenging Earth Changes Ahead

People with a Normalcy Bias have difficulty reacting to disasters because most have never experienced one. They assume that since a disaster has never happened before, then it never will. This results in the inability to cope when a disaster does occur.

A Global Concern

The Normalcy Bias often results in unnecessary deaths during natural disasters. The lack of preparation often leads to inadequate shelter, supplies, and evacuation plans, and this causes people to underestimate the effects of a devastating Earth event. Because there has been a lack of education concerning Earth changes, the Normalcy Bias has become an increasing global concern. By accepting the fact that imminent Earth events and natural disasters are a reality today, we can be more prepared.

Avoid falling into the Normalcy Bias trap, but if you read this entire article, I don’t think you have it!

After 20 years of research, Dr. Hull uncovered evidence supporting her theory that the Earth’s geographic poles shift at the axis, causing dramatic climate change.
